Welcome to Avalon At Home: an online music lesson program for students who live outside of the Brantford area. That means online lessons that are taught to students all over North America!

High quality, educational, and fun music lessons done from the comfort of your own home. All you need is an internet connection, a laptop or a tablet, and your instrument.

- We are an established, popular, and well-respected school. We have been in operation since 2006, with three locations in the greater Brantford, Ontario area. In 2020, due to the pandemic, we were forced to pivot to an all-online lesson format, which allowed us to continue to bring quality lessons to all of our students. We acquired students from all over North America, and many of them continue to study online with us.
- Our teachers are all qualified through the Royal Conservatory, Conservatory Canada, or a university or College education in the faculty of Music. They pride themselves on teaching any style of music and are all well-versed in theory knowledge. Every Avalon teacher is kind and patient, and they are dedicated to working with children and beginner students of all ages.
- Online lessons may be scheduled in the daytimes or the evenings. We are in Eastern time, and we are flexible to work within other time zones.
- There are no registration fees and no long-term contracts. Lessons are agreed to on a month-to-month basis and can be canceled at any time by providing us with 30 days’ notice.
Online music lesson fees are $30 per half-hour lesson.
What is the upside to taking online music lessons?

➡️Students can have their lessons even if they are traveling!
What are the downsides of online lessons?
➡️You don’t get to nap in the car for half-an-hour while your student is at the studio.
Lesson Payment Policy:
- Fees for live online lessons are $22.50 (CAD) for each half-hour lesson. Payments are due in advance of lessons, on the first of the month, via pre-authorized credit card. This must be set up prior to the start of lessons.
- Lessons can be cancelled at anytime by providing 30 days’ notice.
- If you are not able to attend a lesson, it can be made up within 30 days of the missed lesson based on the teachers’ availability. The teacher is under no obligation to make up a lesson missed by a student.
